Since 2011, I have worked as a freelance translator and proofreader for private clients and translation agencies. I translate legal, medical and technical texts, as well as official documents (sworn translation). In recent years I have carried out numerous technical translation and proofreading assigments: user guides, instruction manuals, product certifications, case studies, newsletters, etc. Through translation agencies, I have had the opportunity to work for important international clients specialized in different areas, from Amazon to IT and medical device companies.
I was appointed as a Sworn Translator and Interpreter in May 2012. Since then, I have been translating official documents on a daily basis for private clients, companies and translation agencies.
I have also regularly proofread academic documents and research papers related to the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning and computer vision, and have had the opportunity to translate a number of academic papers for several Spanish universities.
I have professional experience in the field of tourism and hospitality, and have translated a large number of texts that have been published in well-known travel portals. I have also collaborated with several NGOs in recent years by translating and correcting teaching materials on education, housing, employment opportunities, etc.
As an interpreter, I also work in hospitals and health centers, as well as in police stations, notaries’ offices, courts, banks, etc. I also provide liaison interpreting services at meetings and events.
